Maruti Suzuki Celerio X 2020-2022

Maruti understands Indians very well and a fine example of that is the Celerio X. You might not see this car in metro cities but drive out to smaller town, hilly terrains and even rural markets and the Celerio X will be a common sight. The reason for this are its pseudo cross-hatchback looks which makes it look larger than what it is. Further, it is offered in rather stand out colour options like Paprika Orange and Caffeine Brown. The addition of black elements across the size. The X is based on the conventional Celerio which means it shares the same mechanicals, interiors and engine. The X is offered in a total of eight variants
and interestingly, Maruti is not offering this in the base LXi trims. The range topping ZXI AGS costs over Rs 6 lakh on-road but continues to bring in buyers. It is powered by the K10 1.0 petrol unit that also powers other models like the Alto K10 and the Wagon R. Both MT and AGS (automatic) transmissions are on offer. The Celerio is due for a replacement with an all-new, next gen model and its safe to assume that Maruti will do the same replacement with the X model too.
