Maruti Suzuki Jimny EVUpcoming

Last Updated On 19th Feb'24: The specific launch date for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny EV remains unspecified at present, but it is projected to take place around 2025 or 2026. Upon its introduction, the electric version is anticipated to come equipped with a dual electric motor setup, enabling all-wheel drive functionality. This setup positions it as a direct competitor to the upcoming Tata Harrier EV, which is also expected to incorporate a dual-motor all-wheel drive system.

Driving Range and Battery Capacity

As said above, there is no information about the launch of this product, but we do expect that if brought into the real-world, the Jimny EV is expected to have a driving range of 300–400 km. Along with this, a large battery pack that supports both DC fast charging and regular AC charging will be on offer. We believe that like the other Li-Ion batteries, this one too will carry a warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 km.
