eC3 Highlights
On Target
Mostly seen with commercial plates, the eC3 is pricey for its size & battery, and misses key features. Better options exist.
What We Like
The eC3 scores high marks for a very comfortable ride, great seats and practical interiors. Plus it's agile for daily runs
What We Do Not Like
Costlier than the Nexon EV, misses features that rivals offer. It doesn't get updates like its ICE sibling. Poor resale too.

Should I buy the eC3?
If you are looking for a fun-to-drive, powerful EV then Citroen e-C3 is a great choice. It not only provides good performance but also a decent range with good looks. It provides comfort, and features, and is a head-turner for people who don’t know about it. Packed as a well-equipped machine, it’s the perfect choice for you if you are looking for something different.
- The Citroen E-C3 is identical to the regular C3 in design language. The bold front face, LED DRLs, and chrome grill connect. They give it a good treatment with multi-color pallet.
- The throw of headlights is decent but fog lamps enhance the visibility at night. The dual-tone treatment gives a more aesthetic appearance.
- The 15” alloy wheels and wide body cladding with white inserts give it a mixed appeal. The old school door handles also add to this appeal. The indicator placement at the front fenders does not justify the price tag.
- At the rear, it is identical to a regular C3. The boot space, taillights, and dual-tone treatment maintain its character and charm.
eC3 body specifications:
| Wheel Size | R15 |
| Seating Capacity | 5 seaters |
| Ground Clearance | 170 mm |
| Boot Space | 315 liters |

- The e-C3 has an option for both AC and DC charging option. It comes with a 29.2 kWh battery that charges completely in 12 hours through an AC slow charger.
- The DC fast charger charges the battery up to 80% in less than an hour. Since the charging infrastructure is improving, the availability of the charger will increase.
- The interiors of the e-C3 and regular C3 are very similar. The dual-tone treatment gives it a good appeal inside the cabin.
- The cabin space is very good. The touch and feel of the cabin is on the premium side but some touchpoints could have been better in quality.
- The 10.25” touchscreen infotainment system is user-friendly. It has wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The downside is that it still misses the fully automatic climate control.
- The e-C3 comes with a 29.2 kWh battery pack that produces 57 BHP of power and 147 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a PMSM motor.
- The main issue is the claimed range of 320 km, but in real life, it would return about 200-250 km on a full charge.
- The power delivery is linear and the top speed is 110 Km/h.
