Skoda India has just pulled the wrap off the facelifted Slavia it's the first update for the sedan since it launched back in 2022. With the 2026 update the Slavia brings few cosmetic changes and a lot of what's new here has come straight from consumer feedback, which explains why features like a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 360 Area View camera and a rear seat massager have found their way into the lineup. Moreover, the Skoda Slavia isn’t just a small player here; it has crossed more than 80,000 units sold and holds close to 30 percent market share in the mid-size sedan segment.
The facelift spreads its updates across six variants, Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. This article breaks down variant wise features of Slavia and lets also find out which is more feature packed.

1.0 TSI Turbo Petrol | 6-speed MT |
1.0 TSI Turbo Petrol | 8-speed Torque Converter AT |
1.5 TSI Turbo Petrol | 7-speed DSG |
The entry point to the Slavia lineup starts from the Classic trim that keeps things fairly simple but it does give buyers with a choice of powertrain right from the start, all three engine and transmission combinations are on offer here. Where it keeps costs in check is the equipment list, you get a compact 7-inch touchscreen, analogue dials instead of a digital cluster, and steel wheels with covers instead of alloys. There's no sunroof, no auto AC and no camera at this level either. Skoda hasn't extended its 6 Airbags & 25+ Safety Features package to the Classic, so buyers who want that badge or extra safety kit will need to look one step up.

Move one step up and you have the Classic+ trim from here Slavia picks up the 6 Airbags & 25+ Safety Features package along with inbuilt connectivity, so you get app-based access to the car even at this level. Though there is no change in the touchscreen size and instrument cluster it stays the same as in Classic, but you do move up to R16 alloy wheels finished in a Lynx design. However, sunroof and auto AC continue to be missing here, so if those matter to you, Signature is where you'll want to go instead. On the colour front, Lava Blue joins the palette exclusively from this trim onward. A clearer verdict on whether the Signature variant is worth the upgrade can only be made once the prices are announced. If there are only a few thousand gaps, then the upgrade will be worth it.

Starting from the third Signature trim the Slavia facelift starts feeling properly upgraded. It brings in the electric sunroof and Climatronic auto AC that the two lower trims miss out on, not only that you also see a big jump on the tech front, the touchscreen upgraded to 10.1-inch and the analogue dials are swapped for a 8-inch Virtual Cockpit. Keeping the safety in check a rear-view camera also makes its debut here. Moreover, wheels move to a Radim design R16 alloy. This trim also widens the colour options meaningfully, with Arctic Silver, Cappuccino Beige and Deep Black all becoming available for the first time.

Sportline continues to offer everything that is on offer with the Signature variant: sunroof, auto AC, 10.1-inch touchscreen and the 8-inch Virtual Cockpit. The difference comes in the safety game with a proper 360 Area View camera in place of the single rear-view unit. Wheels switch to a Ving Black design, giving the car a slightly sportier stance as the name suggests without moving into full Monte Carlo territory. The colour palette also grows further here, Shimla Green and Steel Grey both become available for the first time at this trim.

Just below the top Monte Carlo trim sit the Prestige which is the most loaded variant in the regular lineup. It comes equipped with AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud and a rear seat massager, both firsts for the segment, are exclusive to this trim and Monte Carlo. Moreover, the Virtual Cockpit also grows to a larger 10.25-inch unit, and wheels move to a Savio Dual Tone alloy design. Basically, Prestige carries forward everything offered in Sportline and then adds the segment-first comfort and connectivity features on top, with the full ten-shade colour palette (barring the odd Monte Carlo exclusive) available at this level.

Monte Carlo sits apart as the sporty, style-first trim, and it's the only one that drops the 6-speed manual gearbox entirely, you get it only with the 1.0 TSI automatic or the 1.5 TSI DSG. On equipment, it carries over the full Prestige kit, sunroof, auto AC, rear seat massager, AI Assistant and the 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, so nothing is sacrificed for the sporty styling. What sets it apart is purely cosmetic, sporty red stripes on the grille with a Monte Carlo badge, new LED headlamps and fog lamps, LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators, and R16 alloys, Savio Black design, paired with red brake calipers. Colour-wise, it's the most restrictive trim, Arctic Silver and Carbon Steel aren't offered at all, and most other shades are available only in a dual-tone finish with a black roof, alongside two exclusive monotone options, Deep Black and Lava Blue.

Most Feature-Loaded Variant
If you're looking at the trim that packs in the most kit without narrowing you down to a single styling theme, Prestige is the one to watch. It gets every comfort and safety feature in the lineup, the segment-first AI Assistant and rear seat massager included, while still offering the full spread of body colours. Monte Carlo technically carries the same equipment list, but it trades gearbox choice and colour flexibility for its sportier styling, so it's really a preference call rather than a feature one.
