Toyota Belta Overview
With the Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Alliance, this is the third product from the carmaker. Toyota Belta is based on Maruti Ciaz. Toyota Belta gets a 1.5L petrol engine. This mid-size sedan rivals Skoda Slavia, Maruti Ciaz, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
Toyota Belta Dimensions and Capacity
This sedan measures 4490 mm in length, 1730 mm in width, 1485 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2650 mm. It gets 510 litres of boot space and 43 litres of fuel tank capacity. It gets 170 mm of ground clearance.
Toyota Belta Features
It gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a push-button start/stop, dual-tone interior colour scheme, a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear armrest and more.
Toyota Belta Exterior
As of now, the car is not yet launched but we do expect it'll follow the same design as the Maruti Ciaz. The only change visible will be Toyota badging and we can expect a tweaked front and rear bumper design.
Toyota Belta Interior
To give the cabin a premium feel, a dual-tone colour scheme will be followed and Toyota badging on the steering wheel will be observed.
Toyota Belta Engine and Transmission
Under the hood, Toyota Belta will get a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This engine generates 103 bhp of power with 138 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is observed as standard fitment. We can expect a new 6-speed AT as an option when Toyota Belta will be launched in the Indian market.
Toyota Belta Prices, Warranty
The car is yet to be launched but we do expect it to be priced a little premium over the Maruti Ciaz. Toyota will provide 3 years/1 lakh km warranty on the Belta.
