KIA offers the Sonet in a total of 19 variants, which feature three engine options. The base HTE variant provides essential safety and basic features. It is suitable for those open to aftermarket upgrades. For those who prefer the NA petrol engine, the HTK & HTK+ variants offer extra value. The HTK+ variant is available with all three engine options and it provides a good number of features. The HTX variant stands out as a highly cost-effective choice. It is available with turbo petrol and diesel engines. It also has all available transmission options. We recommend the HTX+ variant if you are seeking premium features. However, people consider the GTX+ & X-Line variants to be overpriced. The decision to choose these variants ultimately lies with the buyer.

  • The car comes with features like a 360-degree camera, a 4-way powered driver seat, a BOSE 7-speaker sound system, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging, and more.
  • The design includes a dual-screen connected panel with a full digital cluster. It has a 10.25-inch color LCD MID and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment.
  • It is available with 3 engine options: 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The HTK+ variant is available with all three engine options making it a good option.
  • Diesel engine is available starting from the base HTE variant
  • Different types of transmission options are available depending on the engine. The DCT gearbox is available starting with the HTX variant at Rs 12.29 lakh.
  • The interior comes with an option of 5 colour themes and offers a premium feel
  • The car is loaded with a number of safety features. It includes 15 standard safety features. These include 6 airbags, ESP, VSC, Hill-hold assist, ABS, Brake Assist, and more.

  • The lower models lack features. The company only reserves most of the good features for the higher variants.
  • GTX+ & X-Line variants are the only ones that have ADAS.
  • The turbo petrol engine does not offer a complete manual transmission. Instead, it comes with a clutchless manual transmission. This might not appeal to some customers.
  • The dual-tone color option is not available until the HTX+ variant
  • The 10.25-inch infotainment does not support Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • The top-of-the-line X-line trim comes with a high price tag specially with diesel engine
  • The 1.2-litre petrol engine is available in three variants only

• The well-tuned suspension is notable. The base and mid variants are equipped with 15-inch wheels. They provide a commendable ride quality. The top-spec GTX+ & X-line variant comes with 16-inch wheels. This contributes to a more mature and balanced ride. The suspension is not plush, but it strikes a good balance. It remains compliant even at higher speeds.
