Powertrain, Range & Charging Details

The MG M9 is built on a dedicated EV architecture and features a strong powertrain setup. It is powered by a 90kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery pack that's placed beneath the floor for better space and stability. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a single electric motor that produces 245hp and 350Nm of torque. Owners will also be able to access MG's public fast-charging infrastructure, which can be located through the brand's eHUB mobile application. The M9 also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities for added utility.
Interior And Features

Inside, the MG M9 offers a plush and tech-rich cabin that emphasizes both comfort and sophistication. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system sits prominently on the dash, supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 7-inch digital driver's display complements it with sharp graphics and real-time driving data. The dashboard and upholstery are finished in a rich cognac brown leather and suede combination, enhancing the overall luxury feel of the interior.

What truly sets the M9 apart is the comfort for rear passengers. The second-row captain seats offer power adjustment, ventilation, heating, and multiple massage modes, making long journeys far more relaxing. The front seats are also powered and come with massage functions. Other notable features include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control with a PM 2.5 air purifier, and a premium JBL audio system with 13 speakers. The infotainment setup is powered by MG's iSmart system, which includes over 40 connected car features, from remote operations and geo-fencing to voice control and live tracking, and a lot more.

In terms of safety, the M9 is equipped with seven airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring, and a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features. These include lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking assist, ensuring the M9 stays competitive with the best in its class.

Expected Pricing
With its premium positioning, long list of features, and solid electric performance, the MG M9 is expected to carry an estimated price tag of around Rs. 65 lakh- Rs. 70 lakh (ex-showroom). While it will retail through the first of these exclusive MG Select outlets, first of which was recently inaugurated, the company plans to expand to 14 MG Select dealerships by the festive season.
