Very recently I bought the new 2020 Tata Tigor BS6. I was looking for a compact sedan in the market and was confused between the Tigor and the Ford Aspire and then news came that Tigor got 4 Star safety rating in Global NCAP, so I bought it as for me Safety is utmost priority. The new Tigor looks astonishingly good, its sleek stance looks really good and it has got new design elements. The new Tigor gets a BS6-compliant engine and this engine is although a three-cylinder unit, I liked its refinement and it gives good mileage too. I got my Tigor delivered in March this year but then lockdown happened and so I have driven it just 2300 kilometres till now. I am happy to own the Tigor as it is India’s safest compact sedan.
Read MoreI am a resident of Kanpur Uttar Pradesh. I bought the Tata Tigor in October 2017. The Tigor is my first car and so I have special attachment with it. I bought the top-spec XZ (O) model but with the diesel engine that got manual gearbox. I purchased diesel model as I have to travel a lot and also sometimes I have to do Kanpur to Gorakhpur as my parents live there. In around 3 years, I have covered around 31,000 kilometres in my car. The Tiago is a great car, it is practical, gets lots of features and has good styling too. However, my father doesn’t like its quirky rear styling. In terms of drivetrain, the Tigor diesel isn’t very powerful and refined but it does its job and is very fuel efficient and the maintenance cost is also affordable, so big thumbs up to it.
