Tata Aeris, the upcoming facelift of Tata Tigor with a new moniker, is all set to launch tomorrow (25th September), and it will bring a host of new features that its direct competitor, Maruti Dzire, simply doesn't have. In this article we are going to list down all of those features, and we know this because whatever was introduced with the Tata Tiago facelift in May 2026 is coming to this compact sedan. So, without further ado, let's start.
Tata Aeris
10.25 inch Infotainment Screen
The biggest attraction these days is a high-definition large touchscreen with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay and it hosts other features too. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, and when you look at it thoroughly, you'll notice that the actual screen size is small, and the rest of it is all just thick bezels, which appear like a case for the screen. This screen in Dzire doesn't look premium at all, and when compared with one we get in Tata cars, it feels inferior, as Tata Aeris will have a 10.25-inch infotainment screen.
Blind Spot Monitoring
A premium safety feature that gives a view of what is inside your blind spot is coming to the Tata Aries, as it is already offered in the new Tata Tiago. The great part is that it provides a view of both the left and right sides, unlike its rival, the Honda Amaze, which comes with a blind-spot camera at just the left side. The Maruti Dzire, meanwhile, lacks it and offers only a 360-view camera, which Aeris will also come with.
Dual CNG Cylinder
Instead of one large cylinder, Tata adds two small CNG cylinders and places them under the boot mat so that the trunk space isn't compromised. This technology was introduced by Tata Cars and followed by Hyundai India, making the car versatile and pushing down the norm that cars with CNG don't have good boot space. The Dzire doesn't have this, and sadly the spare wheel is also placed next to the cylinder in it, so there is very little boot space left. Tata, on the other hand, provides the spare wheel under the body, like we usually see in SUVs. This means customers' demands are properly addressed.
Direct CNG Start
Another characteristic of the upcoming Tata Aeries will be direct CNG start, another technology that only Tata Cars offers. Typically, CNG starts on petrol and switches to CNG mode after a few seconds; however, Tata cars can start directly on CNG—so, for instance, if your vehicle doesn't have petrol, you don't need to worry; you can simply go ahead with this other fossil fuel. The Maruti Dzire can't do it.

It's not Aeris all the way, as Dzire comes with a single-pane sunroof, which is a segment-first feature. But this is the only plus one; in every case, the Aeris has more to offer.
