Tata Harrier 2020-2022
Tata Harrier 2020-2022 Latest Update
The Tata Harrier has created its own niche in the segment of 4m+ SUVs in India. It isn’t a perfect all-rounder we agree but it carries on the legacy of tough Tata SUVs further. We do agree there isn’t a proper 4x4 on offer which limits its capabilities off the road, but otherwise, the Harrier does fine for most Tata fans and loyalists out there. Starting with the design that is striking and yet muscular, the Harrier does stand out in the crowd of other offerings in the market. We love the Dark edition too and the new red is equally hot! The cabin of the Harrier is welcoming - there is ample space, the interiors feel well put together and some of the features are definitely stand out. That said, rivals do offer more kit but the Harrier isn’t bad per se. NVH or noise, vibration, harness levels though could have been better in our opinion. The Harrier gets the same 2.0 turbo diesel motor that powers the Hector and the Compass - yes, this is a fact that not many know. However, Tata Motors has tuned it to their own perfection and the end result is great. The Harrier has loads of torque lower down in the rev range and overall punch is excellent. The new 6-speed automatic is what we recommend as the clutch on the manual is on the heavier side and gearshifts aren’t the best too. Overall, the Harrier has fans out there in the market and when you buy one, you will have every reason to smile each time you take it out for a spin.
