The recent launch of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift has ignited the competitive fire in the segment. The new design of the bumper with gloss black trim linking the LED fog lamps and the positioning of the Suzuki badge has been changed; now it sits above the grille instead of within it. Interior & Cabin 

Stepping inside the Baleno makes you feel the same aura of NEXA products. Passengers are greeted with the same V-shaped dashboard with a dual-tone blue and black theme. The leatherette upholstery in it also makes you feel a bit premium. The steering wheel has now got new buttons for the adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. The interior is a mix of soft armrests and hard plastics. Rear seat space is as excellent as earlier, and even tall passengers don't feel crumbled. The boot has 318 liters of space along with a spare tire.

The i20’s cabin looks more tech-heavy and premium compared to Baleno. It has twin screens on higher trims, and the overall design feels top-notch. It has a spacious rear seat, and the comfort level is better in Baleno compared to it.

It comes with a 3-year or 1,00,000km standard warranty.

The Hyundai i20 price starts at a similar Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Era variant, and goes up to Rs 10.68 lakh. It also 1.0 Turbo N-Line N8 DCT variant. The i20 lineup is broader too, spanning Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, Asta (O) and the sporty N Line and Knight Edition trims, giving buyers more choice across drivetrains.
