360-degree Camera and Blind View Monitor

One of the most interesting additions to the Tata Tiago is the inclusion of a 360-degree camera system along with a Blind View Monitor. Notably, both are segment-first features, making the Tiago Facelift the only hatchback in its category to offer this technology. The 360-degree camera significantly improves visibility around the vehicle, making parking in tight spaces and navigating through narrow roads much more convenient. Meanwhile, the Blind View Monitor further enhances driver confidence by reducing visibility limitations around the car during lane changes and tight manoeuvres.

Rival With Similar Feature: Since these are segment-first features, the Tiago currently has no direct rival in its category offering this combination of technology.

Variant: The Tiago Facelift offers a 360-degree camera and Blind View Monitor from the Creative variant onwards.

Infotainment & Driver Display

The Tiago Facelift comes equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 5-inch driver display. The infotainment system remains unchanged beside a new 360-degree view, but the driver display is now fully digital. The driver display also gets a segment first feature which is Bluetooth connectivity support, a new and rare addition in the segment. Altogether, these additions enhance convenience and elevate the overall driving experience.

Rival With Similar Feature: The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios offers a 7-inch infotainment display along with a semi-digital instrument cluster, with prices starting from Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The Maruti Suzuki Swift, on the other hand, gets a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a semi-digital instrument console.

Variant: The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available from the Creative variant onwards.

Dual Deck with Wireless Charger

The Tata Tiago gets a smart dual-deck setup on the centre console, where one side supports wireless smartphone charging while the other offers a dedicated storage space for the co-passenger's phone. Adding to the convenience are 65W Type-C USB chargers at both the front and rear, ensuring devices remain charged throughout the journey.

Rival with similar features: The Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios both offer wireless smartphone charging.

Variant: The Dual Deck wireless charger is offered with the Creative+ variant.

All LED Setup

The Facelift avatar comes equipped with a fully LED setup all around. Starting from front the hatchback gets LED DRLs connected with a piano black element, LED Fog Lamps housed inside the bumper. Further at the rear part the taillamp has been updated with Connected LED taillight which alight with the brand's latest design philosophy. The front LED setup looks modern and improves night visibility while the rear part with connected taillight enhances its overall appearance.

Rival with similar Feature: The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes equipped with LED DRLs, projector headlamps and LED tail lamps, giving it a more premium lighting setup. The Maruti Suzuki Swift, on the other hand, also offers projector headlamps along with LED tail lamps.

Variant: The Creative variant comes equipped with LED headlamps and LED tail lamps, while fog lamps are reserved for the top-spec variant only.

Verdict

The Tiago Facelift feels like a genuine step forward for the hatchback segment. Instead of relying only on cosmetic changes, Tata has focused heavily on technology and everyday usability by introducing multiple segment-first features. Add to that the refreshed styling, connected cabin experience and practical convenience features, and the Tiago now positions itself as one of the most feature-rich and modern hatchbacks in its category.
