Citroen Basalt Coupe SUV: Mid-Variant Spotted With Some Features Missing
When we talk about the design of the Basalt, it's quite unique compared to other Citroen models available in the Indian market. It has a distinct body shape, blending the front look that resembles the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV with a sedan-like rear profile touch. However, Upon closer inspection of the test mule, it becomes evident that many exterior features showcased in the concept version are missing.
For instance, it lacks LED lighting elements in both the headlights and taillights, as well as the sharp fins and the alloy wheels. It appears that this is the mid-variant being tested. There is a high expectation that the top variant will retain all features and will be packed with all the expected elements.
Despite these omissions, there are some notable exterior elements, such as the notchback design at the rear, turn indicators on the ORVMs, flap-type door handles, the Basalt logo at the rear, squared-off wheel arches, and a thin rectangular light placed at the upper end of the rear door window.
