Hero Vida V1 Pro: Battery, Range And Warranty
The V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,26,200 and boasts a certified range of 165 km. Equipped with a 3.94 kWh battery capacity, it delivers a peak power of 6 kW and 25 Nm of torque. It accelerates smoothly from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 80 km/h.
This vehicle comes with a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, while the battery warranty extends to 3 years or 30,000 km.
Hero Vida V1 Plus Relaunch - What Led To This Decision?
The Vida V1 Plus, once discontinued, is now relaunched at an attractive price of 1.15 lakh (including FAME II subsidy and portable charger). It boasts a 3.44 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a range of 143 km and a top speed of 80 km/h, with acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
Why the relaunch? If we look at some reasons, we can see that competitors were offering similar spec models like Vida, some even a tad cheaper, or had their own budget-friendly options.
To stay in the game and meet customer needs, the company decided to bring back this more affordable version of Vida, with the same specs as the V1 Pro, just with a few feature tweaks here and there. Government subsidies cut costs to Rs 97,800, boosting Vida's appeal.
This variant now enters into head-to-head competition with rivals like Ather 450S, S1 X+, Ola S1 Air, and others.
Verdict
This offer makes the Vida even more tempting for customers, especially with a series of benefits on services, features, and other significant savings over a considerable period of time.
