Kawasaki Z900 & Z H2 India Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 27,000

Kawasaki Z900 & the Z H2 naked sports bike prices have increased in India. The price hike ranges from Rs 9,000 to Rs 27,000 depending on the bike.

On one hand, Kawasaki is updating its global lineup with the MY23 products. On the other hand, Kawasaki India has increased the prices of its existing MY22 range. Yes, the Kawasaki Z900 & the Z H2 naked sports bikes are now costlier than ever. The price hike range from Rs 9,000 to Rs 27,000 depending on the model and variant chosen.

Kawasaki Price Hike Details

The reason behind the new price hike has not been justified. However, we suspect that the consistent rise in taxation and input costs might be the propeller of this price hike. Meanwhile, the increased pricing does not bring any changes to these motorcycles. Both of these models remain the same cosmetically as well as mechanically.

Kawasaki Z900

The Z900 sports bike is one of the highest-selling products for Kawasaki in India. It has been known for the value for money tag. However, if you're planning to buy a new one, get ready to shell out Rs 9,000 additional. The new price of the Z900 is now Rs 8.93 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. It continues using the 948cc, inline-4-cylinder engine that makes a peak power of 123.6 bhp. This engine is also BS6 compliant. Its main rivals in India are - Ducati Monster & Triumph Street Triple R.

However, the Z series has a total of three bikes. These are - Z H2, Z H2 SE, & the Z900 itself. Speaking of the Z H2 and H2 SE, the price hike stands at Rs 23,000 and Rs 27,000 respectively. The Z H2 and the Z H2 SE are available in Metallic Diablo Black with Golden Blazed Green dual-tone paint. A 998cc, inline-4-cylinder engine that makes a peak power of 197.2 bhp is used on both of these models. Its main rivals in India are - Ducati Streetfighter V4 & the BMW S 1000 R.
