Mahindra Thar Earth Edition Changes: All Details
The newly launched Thar Earth Edition is available in 4 variants. The starting price of this special edition range is Rs 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The dealerships have now started receiving the model for deliveries. Inspired by the desert theme, it gets a special paint scheme called Desert Fury. The front grille is also painted in this new colour theme.
The side profile has matte-finished 4X4 badges and black dune stripe stickers. Mahindra has also fixed Earth badges on the B-pillars. Additionally, each unit will get its unique VIN plate; making each car special.
On the inside, it gets beige leather seats, chrome accents around the gear lever and hand brake lever, and Desert Fury colour highlights around the AC vents. The rest of the cabin is unchanged as compared to the standard Thar. The powertrain options are also similar to the standard version.
Verdict
Thar has been one of the most popular SUVs in India. However, it has now started to look and feel outdated. Mahindra is also developing a 5-Door version that is scheduled to launch by mid-2024. The Earth Edition is to lure the customers looking for a subtle factor along with 4X4 capabilities of Thar.
