Royal Enfield has announced the latest season of the Continental GT Cup in India. Aspiring racers can now register for the GT Cup, an opportunity for amateur and budding talents to exhibit their racing skills. Selection rounds are set to kick off by the end of May, offering a platform for participants to shine with races set to take place later. Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2024 Dates
In 2024, Royal Enfield is broadening its horizons by introducing zonal selections in Guwahati, Bangalore, Pune, and New Delhi. These races offer amateur riders an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities for a spot in the main event. The top 12 riders from each zone will progress to the final selections in Kari, Coimbatore. Ultimately, these 48 amateur riders will compete against 50 professional riders, with the 12 fastest securing a place on the final grid.
The zonal selection rounds of the RE Continental GT Cup 2024 commence in Guwahati on May 2526, then move to Bangalore on June 1-2, Pune on June 89, and New Delhi on June 1516. Riders have the option to register in either the professional or amateur category. The registrations are already underway from May 14.
Dates For The Rounds
The GT Cup is set to unfold across three rounds, featuring a total of eight races. Round 1 is slated for September 911, followed by Round 2 from September 1315, and the concluding round from November 1517. Rounds 1 and 2 will be hosted at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore, while the grand finale is scheduled to take place at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.The grand finale of the GT Cup will bring together 98 Pro-Am riders, comprising 48 amateur riders and 50 professional riders, all competing on the same track. In the end, only the twelve fastest riders, spanning both professional and amateur categories, will clinch a coveted spot on the final grid. Interstingly, the racing bikes are based on the hit Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

This year, Royal Enfield introduces an additional third Team Championship, pairing professionals with amateurs to add a strategic element to the races while honoring their individual podium positions. The fourth season of the JK Tyre presents Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup will be part of the JK National Racing Championship 2024 and is certified by the Federation of Motorsports Club of India (FMSCI).
