Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Ample differentiating elements from the regular CB make this one a good looker.
  • Good pricing for the segment
  • Torquey engine that also sounds great on the move.
  • The familiar retro design will appeal to customers.
  • The twin pea-shooter exhaust pipes give the bike a more ‘complete’ look.
  • The Vallam Red paint scheme, along with oodles of chrome looks and feels premium.
  • The 648cc engine comes with the same linear acceleration, precise fueling and widespread torque.
  • It gets a removable rear seat.
Cons
  • Limited number of Big Wing outlets in India.
  • Tall gearing a hamper during slow city rides
  • Top end isn't as punchy as expected.
  • Not many connectivity features on offer.
  • Sharing its sub-frame with the Shotgun 650, the ride quality is likely to be on the stiffer side.
  • The 243kg kerb weight makes it the heaviest RE motorcycle yet.

Honda CB350 RS is a very reliable bike in city as well as highway. Best thing about this bike is its engine, this 350 cc engine is the smoothest machine. I have ever rode. You will never complain about the power as well. As this bike has 350 cc engine you cannot expect average economy more than 35 to 40 kmpl which is very good for this segment of bike. If I talk about comfort, seat is not so good you have to add extra cusion on seat. Over all it is a good choice if you need a 350 cc segment bike which is better than Royal Enfield Classic 350 at a similar pricing.
