The 812 was finally laid to rest this year, after the unveiling of its successor; the 12Cilindri. With a price tag of Rs 5.75 crore (ex-showroom), the 812 used to compete directly against the Bentley Continental GT in the Indian market. The 812 saw the introduction of rear-wheel steering, along with a faster dual-clutch transmission, more F1-inspired aerodynamic bits onto the body, and electronic driver aids.
