Verdict: As of now BYD has a small yet effective portfolio of electric vehicles in its stable. However, given the high pricing of these vehicles, they already fall in the niche segment, which is also connected to the fact that the EV market space is very small in itself. Although showcasing BYD cars at the 2023 Auto Expo will definitely have a positive effect on the brand's identity, the carmaker should focus on more affordable offerings in order to capture a considerable market share.
