Tata Nexon EV Max 2023-2024

Tata Motors has launched the Dark Edition of the Tata Nexon EV, priced at Rs 19.04 lakh. Although this fresh edition has been introduced, the manufacturer hasn't made any extra changes. It seems the company is mainly focused on the upcoming facelift of the Tata Nexon. As we get closer to the release, details about the distinct features of each version of the upcoming SUV have been disclosed.

Nexon EV Max Price : The Nexon EV Max comes with a price range starting from Rs 16.49 lakh and going up to Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This variant is offered in three main configurations: XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. The Dark edition is available on the top-tier XZ+ trim.

Battery : Powering the Nexon EV Max is a 40.5kWh battery pack matched with an electric motor that delivers 141 bhp and 250Nm of torque. The vehicle supports two charging choices: 3.3kW and 7.2kW, with corresponding charging durations of 15 hours and six hours. The model also facilitates rapid charging of up to 50kW, which can charge the battery from 0-80% in just 56 minutes.

Features/Technology: The Tata Nexon EV Max is equipped with state-of-the-art technology features to make your driving experience smooth and modern. The car has a new HARMAN 10.25” Infotainment system with a TFT high-resolution HD display. You can easily connect your smartphone using wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the in-built voice assistant is in 6 languages and has 180+ voice commands in Hindi, Bengali, English, Tamil, Marathi and Telugu. Tata Nexon EV Max is further equipped with a cooled glove box for your convenience and i-TPMS so that you can keep a check on your tire pressure.  

Range : The Nexon EV Max boasts an asserted range of 437 km.

Dimensions : In terms of dimensions, the Nexon EV Max measures 3993mm in length, and 1811mm in width, and features a wheelbase of 2498mm.

Safety : On the safety front, the vehicle is equipped with dual front airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, hill descent control, hill hold control, cornering stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic parking brake, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and ABS with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution).

Colour Options : The Nexon EV Max is available in three distinct colours: Intensi-Teal, Pristine White, and Daytona Grey.

Ground Clearance : The vehicle proudly presents a ground clearance of 190mm.

Rivals : The main competitors for the Tata Nexon EV Max include the Mahindra XUV400, Hyundai Kona Electric, and MG ZS EV.
