This teaser hints at a promising update to an already popular electric vehicle, further elevating the Nexon EV's appeal by combining a refreshed aesthetic with the eco-friendly advantages of electric mobility.

What To Expect

In addition to the visual updates, Tata Motors plans to revamp the trim lineup for the Nexon EV facelift, mirroring the changes seen in its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. The existing Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max trims will undergo a renaming process, becoming the Nexon EV MR (Medium Range) and Nexon EV LR (Long Range) respectively. This realignment strategy is similar to what Tata Motors has implemented for the Tiago EV lineup.

Furthermore, the trim levels for both the MR and LR models will align with the offerings available for the ICE-powered Nexon facelift, which includes Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless trims. These will be complemented by variants denoted by 'S,' offering a sunroof, and '+,' featuring optional add-on kits.

Furthermore, the Nexon EV is expected to share several features with its ICE counterpart. These features include a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 10.25-inch fully digital and configurable instrument cluster, redesigned touch and toggle-based HVAC controls, a two-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated logo, and ventilated front seats.

2023 Nexon EV Facelift: Battery And Range Remains The Same

The Nexon EV facelift is expected to retain its current electric powertrain. It includes the 30.2 kWh and 40.5 kWh battery options for the Prime and Max models, respectively. Meanwhile, the estimated range figures are also likely to stay the same. It currently claims 312 kilometers for the Prime model and 453 kilometers for the Max model.

Verdict

The Nexon EV facelift promises a refreshed and stylish design, aligning with its ICE counterpart. While retaining its current electric powertrain options and range figures, the realignment of trim levels and the introduction of advanced features ensure that this electric SUV continues to offer a compelling choice for eco-conscious buyers.  Also, join our Whatsapp Group Community of petrolheads to find out more exciting news like this.
