Powering the Honda CB300R is a BS6 complaint 286 cc liquid-cooled, 4 stroke petrol engine that churns out 31 PS and 27.5 Nm of maximum torque. A 6-speed slick-shifting manual gearbox comes mated to this engine and the clutch too is easy and light to operate. The refinement levels are impressive and soo is the performance. In all, the Honda CB300R definitely has an edge over many of the rivals, all thanks to its supreme powertrain.

The CB300R gets USD forks at the front while a 7-step adjustable mono-shock suspension setup is available at the rear. For starters, the CB300R feels extremely light and agile to use while the shorter wheelbase further helps in improving the handling. While the suspension is slightly on the stiffer side, you will definitely appreciate the highway riding experience. With this being said, the high-speed stability is great and the seats too offer decent support, thus making the bike suitable for long hour travel.

Price

With a starting price of INR 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Honda CB300R may not be very affordable or VFM, but does manage to offer a premium package to the buyers who are looking for a peppy and aggressive cafe racer.
