The KTM Duke 250 has always been a good looking motorcycle and with the latest update, it has become even better. The motorcycle now looks completely identical to its elder sibling, the Duke 390. The Duke 250 now gets an all-LED headlamp at the front along with a daytime-running LED. It also gets new sharp aerodynamic rear-view mirrors and the reflectors are positioned at the bottom half of its USD forks. The Duke 250 is a naked streetfighter and so it doesn’t get any visor. Moving to the side profile, one can see that the motorcycle looks very sharp from this angle.
The new KTM Duke 250 gets an exposed trellis frame finished in a dual-tone shade that further complements its overall sporty character. This naked streetfighter motorcycle gets a split seat set-up, a side-mounted exhaust and a belly pan to protect the engine. At the rear, the Duke 250 gets an LED tail lamp and even the turn indicators of the motorcycle are LED units. The all-new KTM Duke 250 BS6 is currently available in India in only two colour variants. The new KTM Duke 250 is based on a Steel Trellis Frame which helps in the ride and handling characteristics of the motorcycle. The suspension duties on this naked streetfighter motorcycle are performed by 43 mm upside-down (USD) forks at the front from WP with 142 mm travel and it even gets a mono-shock absorber at the rear with 150 mm travel. The suspension of the bike is a bit on the firmer side. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres and while the front tyre of the bike measures 110/70-17, its rear tyre is a 150/60 section 17-inch unit.
In terms of features, the all-new KTM Duke 250 continues to get the same old instrument cluster as before. The new KTM Duke 250 features a digital instrument cluster that displays a ton of information like a digital speedometer, tachometer, odometer, twin trip meters, clock, etc. and it also gets an orange backlit display for the instrument cluster. The KTM Duke 250 gets a slipper clutch too which the Duke 200 still doesn’t. The braking duties on the bike are handled by disc brakes at both the ends. At the front, it gets a 300 mm disc while at the rear, the Duke 250 has a 230 mm disc unit. Also, it gets dual-channel ABS from Bosch with switchable supermoto mode.
