1. KTM 250 Duke: New Features, TFT Screen, And More

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke features a new TFT display similar to the one found on the 390 Duke. This display features new-age graphics and Bluetooth connectivity, which was previously available on the 250 Duke. The bike also has new switchgear from the 390, with a four-way menu switch to complement the new dash. In terms of rider assists the 250 Duke remains unchanged. It continues to feature switchable ABS and a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard. To further elevate the appeal, the headlamp is now adorned with LED DRLs like that on the 390 Duke.

2. No Updates In Hardware

The 2024 KTM 250 Duke maintains its core hardware specifications from the previous model. It continues to feature USD telescopic front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension. Other notable features include an underbelly exhaust, dual-channel ABS, single-disc brakes on both wheels and 17-inch alloy wheels.

3. Mechanics Retained

Mechanically, the 250 Duke retains its 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 31PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm at 7,250rpm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quick-shifter. This is something that makes sense as the engine is a time-tested unit that perfectly complements the ergonomics and the overall riding style with enough punch.

KTM has a separate fanbase that is loyal to its design philosophy along with the solid performance of its engines, which are well-suited in their respective category. These timely updates signify how much the brand aims for retention of its wide customer base and also pushing for more and more new-age buyers. But with more and more new launhces taking place, this is the only way to keep your spot, else the domino effect creeps in pretty fast, amking it tougher for you to stand out.
