Should I buy the RC 160?
The KTM RC 160 is a supersport motorcycle positioned in the under-₹2 lakh segment in India. It is aimed at buyers looking for a sporty, performance-focused motorcycle with a fully-faired design. The RC 160 is powered by a 164 cc engine, similar to the one used in the Duke 160, and shares much of its mechanical package. In addition, the RC 160 comes equipped with premium hardware and a comprehensive feature set, making it a well-rounded option in the entry-level supersport motorcycle segment.
- The KTM RC 160 carries the same sharp design language seen on KTM’s bigger supersport motorcycles. It gets a fully-faired front profile with an aggressive LED headlamp and a tall visor that helps deflect windblast when you’re riding hard. From the sides, the exposed subframe gives the motorcycle a clean and sporty appearance, further enhanced by bold and eye-catching body graphics. The split-seat setup, along with a raised pillion seat, adds to the RC 160’s true sportbike stance.
- The motorcycle is offered in three colour options, Electronic Orange Matt, Black, and Ceramic White Matt. Each colour gets contrasting finishes for the 5-spoke alloy wheels. The Electronic Orange Matt and Black variants come with blacked-out alloy wheels, while the Ceramic White Matt version stands out with orange-coloured alloy wheels, adding a nice visual pop.
