Suzuki Motorcycle India has refreshed its quarter-litre motorcycle lineup with new colour schemes and updated graphics for the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. While the mechanical package remains unchanged, the visual updates are aimed at keeping the motorcycles relevant in an increasingly competitive 250cc segment.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced a recall for its Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 motorcycles, citing issues with the rear brake assembly. The recall affects 5,145 units, manufactured between February 2022 and June 2025, and will be addressed at no cost to customers.

Suzuki has issued a recall for its 249cc motorcycles, including the Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, and the V-Strom SX. This recall is due to a problem with the engine camshaft.The issue lies within the camshafts of the engines. Camshafts are crucial parts of car engines, controlling when valves open and close.

As part of the E20 compliant product line that also complies with the most recent emission requirements, the V-Strom SX, Gixxer 250 series, and Burgman Street EX will be offered at all Suzuki Premium dealerships beginning in the third week of June 2023.The OBD-2 compliant engines that power all Suzuki two-wheelers now include an onboard diagnostics system that warns the rider of any engine problems.
