Last updated on 22nd Jan'25: Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel version at Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel will support up to 85% ethanol-blended fuels. It continues to get the same 250c engine but gets an additional fuel filter, a new fuel pump, and line, new piston rings, ECM, injector, and a new fuel gauge. The Gixxer SF 250 flex fuel is available in a single variant and 2 colour options.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 got an upgrade last year, keeping it compliant with BS6 emission norms, and also giving it a bluetooth-enabled digital cluster with navigation, calls and WhatsApp notifications. Everything else, however, has been retained and it continues to be the same, easy-going 250cc supersport motorcycle.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Detailed Review
The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 is a stunning looking motorcycle. This fully-faired bike gets an all-LED headlamp along with a small tinted visor. It gets large rear-view mirrors that have been positioned on the body panels and they offer a good view of what’s around. Moving to the side profile, we can see that the Gixxer SF 250 has a sharp and sleek profile. Just like most other fully-faired motorcycles, the new Gixxer SF 250 also looks the best from the side profile. The motorcycle gets plastic panels all-around with big stickers that highlight the Gixxer 250 branding and replicate Suzuki’s MotoGP motorcycles. The MotoGP edition of the motorcycle gets a retro-inspired livery with the traditional blue and slate silver colour scheme.
However, the company offers a subtle colour scheme too. The matte black colour variant of the Gixxer SF 250 looks very handsome and though it has a subtle finish, it attracts a lot of eyeballs out on the streets. Moreover, the black colour variant of the bike also gets yellow highlights that further complement its overall sporty appeal. At the rear, this fully-faired motorcycle gets a LED tail lamp. However, the turn indicators of the motorcycle aren’t LED units. It also gets a split seat set-up and dual exhaust tips with chrome accents. The brand new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 is offered in two colour variants. They are Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Triton Blue

The all-new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 is powered by a BS6 compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine and it also gets fuel injection technology. This updated BS6 motor pumps out 26.5 PS of maximum power at 9300 RPM and 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7300 RPM. The BS6 Gixxer 250 makes less power at higher revs and less peak torque at lower RPM as compared to its BS4 counterpart that used to produce 26.8 PS of power at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The updated new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 offers very good performance and the rider won’t feel the dearth of power at all.
The Gixxer 250 gets Japanese technology and Suzuki's Oil Cooling System (SOCS) that helps to provide good rideability and ensures smooth acceleration, better power delivery and low fuel consumption along with ease of maintenance. The Gixxer 250 has a rev-happy motor and it excels in all departments. It offers good low-end, mid-range and even nice top-end punch. The motorcycle does 0-100 kmph in under 10 seconds and can reach a top speed of around 155 kmph, which is quite good for a 250cc bike. It is quite fuel-efficient too. The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 delivers around 32-40 kmpl of mileage in real-world riding conditions.

In terms of features, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 gets a large all-digital instrument cluster that shows a ton of information including a digital speedometer, tachometer, odometer, twin trip meters, clock, fuel gauge, a gear position indicator, and many more data.
