2027 TVS Raider 125 Launched With Traction Control: New Price, Features
TVS has updated the Raider 125 for the second time this year, with two safety features (traction control & emergency brake warning) and a wider rear tyre that complements these features. The update is available only on the Raider TFT DD and Raider SXC DD variants, priced at Rs 1,00,330 and Rs 1,03,170 (ex-showroom) respectively. This is the second update TVS has given to the bike since April 2026, and it is available in showrooms right away. Let’s discuss the new updates in detail below.
2027 TVS Raider 125
TVS Motor Company has installed a tractional control system (TCS) and emergency brake warning on the Raider 125. TCS is a first-of-a-kind safety feature for 125cc bikes, and it makes sure that the rear wheel doesn't lose grip on potholes, wet patches, and uneven roads. If it senses that the rear wheel is spinning out, then the ECU plays its role and cuts down the torque. The second feature, the emergency brake warning, is exactly as the name suggests: giving riders behind the bike an extra time if they press brakes suddenly by turning on blinkers so that they have an extra second to react to the situation. To make the overall braking performance better and assist these technologies, TVS has also installed a wider section (120/70-17) rear tire that provides more grip and stability and high speeds.
- TFT DD - Rs 1,00,330
- SXC DD - Rs 1,03,170
What's more? TVS has introduced a 27W type-C fast charger that lets the rider charge their phones swiftly whenever they are on the road.
Other things are the same as before, as this was just a tech update. It continues with a 124.8 cc air & oil cooled engine that makes 11.38 PS and 11.2 Nm and 11.75 Nm with iGo Assist. Suspension duties are handled with a telescopic at the front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock at the rear.
Other tech highlights on this bike are a TFT display with 99+ connected features, turn-by-turn navigation, score and weather updates, and even helmet attention indicators, so for a 125cc this is a loaded-up bike. Lastly, we do have the usuals like LED headlamps, front and rear disc brakes, and LED tail lamps. And these two variants are available in three colour options - Nitro Green, Striking RED, and Metallic Blue.
