The new Honda SP 125 is a premium 125cc commuter motorcycle. In fact, it is a more sporty and feature-loaded iteration of the regular Honda Shine and looks really good. The new Honda SP 125 looks very youthful and the overall design is more striking compared to its predecessor, the Honda Shine SP. At the front, the motorcycle gets a new all-LED angular headlamp with a blacked-out visor. The motorcycle looks quite sharp from the side profile. That’s because it gets sharp tank extensions along with dashing dual-tone graphics on the body panels. The Honda SP 125 also gets five-spoke alloy wheels and there are a lot of glossy black elements.
Now, while the regular Honda Shine gets a lot of chrome accents to appeal to the masses, the company has given the SP 125 a lot of blacked-out elements to enhance the overall appeal of the motorcycle. At the rear, the new Honda SP 125 gets a halogen tail lamp and the indicators are also halogen units. The design of the motorcycle is a subjective matter but in general, the Honda SP 125 is one of the best-looking bikes in its segment. The Honda SP 125 is available in four different colour variants. The all-new Honda SP 125 is based on a diamond type frame and the hardware of this stylish commuter is the same as the Honda Shine 125. The suspension duties on the motorcycle are performed by telescopic forks at the front and it gets hydraulic type 5-step adjustable dual shock-absorbers at the rear. The Honda SP 125 offers good ride quality, thanks to its soft suspension setup. It glides smoothly over speed breakers and rough surfaces. The braking duties on the motorcycle are performed by a 130 mm drum brake at the rear while at the front, one can choose between a 240 mm disc or a 130 mm drum unit.
