Hero Glamour Xtec

Hero has tried to design the Glamour Xtec with the same tubular frame from the old-generation Glamour motorcycle. Although, the efforts of making it look futuristic have worked well. The Xtec looks aggressive from the front. Thanks to the X-shaped LED DRL and LED headlights. The muscular fuel tank and the 5-spoke split-alloy wheels make the Glamour look aggressive. The rear end resembles the old bike though but the taillight is reworked. The overall design and looks of Glamour Xtec are noteworthy and Hero has done a commendable job for this one. 

The dimensions of the Hero Glamour Xtec are sublime and according to the segment standards. The overall shape & size provides the Glamour Xtec provides it with a segment above motorcycle feel. While the design is beautiful to look at, the overall dimensions of it still make it a decent-looking motorcycle in its price range. While the rivals offer larger dimensions, Glamour Xtec beholds the use of a slim body to navigate through the tight and congested city traffic. The muscular fuel tank and its extensions make the Glamour Xtec look bigger than its actual size. It measures 2,051 mm in length, 743 mm in width, 1,074 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 1,273 mm. 

Hero has equipped Glamour Xtec with its tried and tested 124.7 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke petrol engine. This engine has been used in the other products as well from Hero. This engine produces a peak power of 10.7 hp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox to deliver the power to the rear wheel with a chain-driven system. This engine has good low-end torque and it performs well at the city speed limits. Even with a pillion, this engine pulls well from the standstill and doesn’t feel out of breath during overtaking within the city. The real-world mileage of the Hero Glamour Xtec is also impressive as it returns an amazing 55+ kmpl. 

Hero glamour Xtec comes equipped with 18-inch tyres at both ends which are tubeless as well. This size helps in attaining stability as well as overall control of the motorcycle. Hero has equipped the Glamour Xtex with a front disc brake and rear drum brake setup. Overall braking of the bike is spot on and it does not require extra effort to brake immediately. Feature-wise, Hero has provided the Xtec loads of equipment. This includes – Bluetooth connectivity, Turn-by-tun navigation, USB phone charging, start-stop function for more fuel economy. These features offer great riding convenience to the riders on the go and it is one of the best budget commuter biked your money can buy. 

The ride & handling of the Glamour Xtec electric is overall well-tuned. The suspension has been tuned well to tackle the harsh potholes at low speeds with ease of riding. Also, with a pillion, the Glamour Xtec rides well and retains the posture nicely. The handling of Glamour Xtec is also well put up for the segment standards. The rider always feels confident & the overall combination of ride-handling is confidence-inspiring, especially for the young & new riders. It is a nimble bike to handle and don't expect too much from it. The suspension too does an average job and it is best suited for city rides.
