2023 Hero Glamour Xtec DS & DR Variants Registered - Launch Soon?

Hero MotoCorp has registered new variants of its popular commuter bike Glamour. As per the latest type-approval documents uploaded online, the 2023 Hero Glamour Xtec will get DR & DS variants soon. 2023 Hero Glamour Xtec DR & DS Variant Details

While looking at the type-approval documents doesn't provide a lot of details; there are some interesting facts to note. For example, the Xtec DR is registered as the base version now. It gets a disc brake at the front & drum at the rear. Also, the overall dimensions of this version are different from the newly registered two variants. The two other variants are DR & DS. We suspect that DS will be the new top-spec model in the Glamour lineup. It is also mentioned that the DS is variant no. 7 in the lineup. Both of the new versions have 6mm less wheelbase, 83mm more length, & 18mm more height.

There are no further details available about these two new models. But, Hero can possibly offer a different design or colours on these new versions. Also, the feature list including the Xtec technology shall be revised on these. We're not sure what exactly Hero will offer via these but the main task of the new variants is to lure more customers ahead of the upcoming festive season. Also, the powertrain on the new variants will also be the same as the current model. This means that the 124cc single-cylinder engine will be offered as it is.
