What's Common Among All Variants?

Starting with common bits, all the variants offer the same top speed of 145 km/h despite the difference in battery size. Additionally, the three riding modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic are standard across all variants. Apart from this safety package includes switchable dual-channel ABS, 3-level traction control, dynamic stability control, along with radar-based ADAS, which is called as UV Hypersense. This includes features like rear collision warning, lane change assist, blind spot detection and overtake alert. Notably, it comes with a dual dashcam setup along with a secondary screen, which is standard for Desert Wing variant but comes an official accessory for all other variants.

Original Trim

The Original trim comes in two options: Original and Original+. First, let's discuss what is common among these two. Both of them offer the same, smaller 7.1kWh battery pack, which gives out a claimed range of 211km. When paired with a motor, both the variants belt out 36.7 PS and 550 Nm of torque. However, features like TPMS, Violette AI are optional for both variants. Now, let's see what all is different among these:-

Both the variants get 10 levels of regen, 3 levels of traction control, premium connectivity, and crash and knuckle guards as standard. Moreover, they both offer a 5-year/1 lakh Km warranty extendable up to 8-year/ 8 lakh km.

Verdict

If you're buying the Ultraviolette X-47 for daily city runs, the Original+ is the most sensible choice thanks to its onboard charger, premium connectivity, and longer warranty. For riders chasing range and performance, the Recon+ is the sweet spot, combining a 323 km claimed range with advanced tech and safety features. Meanwhile, the Desert Wing is best left to collectors who value exclusivity and premium ownership perks rather than added performance.
