Ultraviolette F77 Detailed Review
The looks & design of the Ultraviolette F77 are a mix of a faired motorcycle and a street-naked sports bike. The upright set handlebar is well incarnated with the large side fairing that connects the headlight to the lower part of the chassis. The front includes an LED headlight with LED DRLs that give it an aggressive outlook. However, the side profile makes the Ultraviolette F77 look bulky as well as gives it a big bike feel. The rear end of the Ultraviolette F77 endorses a rather conventional styling with a single-piece LED taillight.
The Ultraviolette F77 showcases a big bike feel via its dimensions. The Ultraviolette F77 gets an 800mm seat height which is on the higher side. However, its 1340mm wheelbase makes up for an agile handling machine as it is rather small when compared to the other ICE-powered models of the same price tag. The overall kerb weight of the Ultraviolette F77 is also modest at 158 kg.
The Ultraviolette F77 is available in three variants. The Standard variant gets a 7.1kWh battery pack. This battery pack can make a peak torque of up to 85 Nm. Additionally, it can complete an IDC-claimed riding range of 206 km per charge. The Recon variant gets a 10.3kWh of the battery pack. This battery pack can generate a peak torque of up to 95 Nm. Additionally, due to this bigger battery, the Ultraviolette F77 can complete an IDC-claimed riding range of up to 306 km per charge. The Standard variant of the Ultraviolette F77 can reach a top speed of up to 140 kmph while the Limited variant can reach a claimed top speed of up to 152 kmph. It can also do 0-60 kmph in 2.9s while the 0-100 kmph mark in just 7.8s (claimed).
The front suspension on the Ultraviolette F77 is a 41mm USD fork setup while the rear gets a monoshock suspension setup. Additionally, 110/70 - R17 and 150/60 - R17 tyres are slapped on the Ultraviolette F77 over the lightweight alloy wheels. The front is a 320mm single disc brake while the rear is a 230mm single disc brake. The dual-channel ABS is backed by BOSCH. It also gets a 5-inch touchscreen TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Furthermore, Ultraviolette is offering mobile connectivity with an app that offers ride history, telemetry, geofencing and remote locking. It also gets multiple riding modes like – Sports, Urban, Eco.
