Ultraviolette Automotive To Enter Multiple Segments; Details
In a bid to make itself more accessible to buyers, Ultraviolette Automotive will be releasing a range of new electric two-wheelers in a phased manner over the next two years. According to a teaser image, the Indian two-wheeler maker has shown some interesting future products; an adventure motorcycle, a naked commuter, and finally an electric scooter. The regular lineup of the F77 Mach 2, the F77 SuperStreet, and the F99 Racing Concept were also shown in the teaser image.
While the details of the new two-wheelers remain unknown for now, Ultraviolette says it will reveal a full roadmap for the future on March 5. We can expect the adventure motorcycle and the naked commuter to be built on the same platform as the F77, but with altered components, along with differently-tuned motors and battery packs.
As for the electric scooter, we can expect Ultraviolette to create a new platform and stick to the performance end of things, in a similar vein to what Ather does the 450X. The scooter will be even more important, considering how successful electric scooters have been in the Indian market over electric motorcycles.

The fact that Ultraviolette finally plans to expand its lineup shows its commitment to the Indian market. While the adventure bike and the naked commuter will be nice additions to the lineup, we feel that the scooter might just be the thing that helps UV finally achieve large volumes.
