2026 TVS Apache RTR 310 Gets a Variant Update; Here's All That's New!
TVS Motor has given the Apache RTR 310 a fresh variant structure for 2026. The bike now starts at Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 2.97 lakh for the Anniversary Edition. The headline changes are on the menu rather than under the skin: the Top variant is gone, the quickshifter is now part of the regular Base trim, and the Sepang Blue paint is no longer reserved for the costlier BTO versions.

The Top Variant Is Retired

When the RTR 310 first went on sale, buyers had a ladder of Base, Top, and two BTO (Build To Order) kit-equipped variants. The base was priced at Rs 2.40 lakh and the top at Rs 2.57 lakh. The BTO 1 Dynamic Kit and BTO 2 Dynamic Pro Kit sat above them at Rs 2.75 lakh and Rs 2.85 lakh, respectively.
The key thing to understand about the old Top variant is that its main selling point over Base was the quickshifter. With that feature now moved into the standard Base trim, TVS no longer needs a separate Top version, so it has been dropped entirely. In its place, the company sells a quickshifter-less 'Base without Quickshifter' and a quickshifter-equipped 'Base'.
Updated Price List (Ex-showroom)
Variant / Colour | Price |
|---|---|
Base without Quickshifter | Rs 2.30 lakh |
Base (Quickshifter) - Arsenal Black, Fury Yellow | Rs 2.47 lakh |
Base (Quickshifter) - Black Diamond Edition | Rs 2.49 lakh |
Base (Quickshifter) - Fiery Red | Rs 2.52 lakh |
Base (Quickshifter) - Sepang Blue | Rs 2.57 lakh |
Anniversary Edition | Rs 2.97 lakh |

Sepang Blue Comes Down the Range
Sepang Blue, which used to be a BTO-only colour, can now be had on the quickshifter-equipped Base. It carries a Rs 10,000 premium over the Arsenal Black and Fury Yellow shades. Note that it is not offered on the cheaper Base without Quickshifter.
What the Numbers Mean for Buyers
A bit of arithmetic shows how the revision plays out in practice:
- Cheaper entry: The cheapest RTR 310 is now Rs 10,000 less than the earlier Base price.
- Quickshifter costs the same extra: Stepping up from the new entry-level bike to the quickshifter version costs Rs 17,000, the same gap that used to separate Base from Top.
- Better value for the same feature: A quickshifter-equipped bike in the two basic colours is Rs 10,000 cheaper than the old Top variant. These revised prices follow the recent GST 2.0 reforms.
- Blue costs what Top used to: The Sepang Blue Base lands at Rs 2.57 lakh, the exact old price of the Top variant.
What Stays the Same
Nothing has changed mechanically. The RTR 310 is still powered by a 312.2 cc reverse-inclined engine making 35.6 PS and 28.7 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The electronics package that makes this bike stand out in its class is carried over, with some items depending on the variant. It includes a TFT instrument cluster, adjustable front and rear suspension, a transparent clutch cover, a 6D IMU, launch control, keyless ignition, and TPMS. On the rider-aid side, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and cornering cruise control are on the list. The Base trim continues to come with cruise control, linear traction control, drag torque control, and rear wheel lift protection as standard.

The Bottom Line
This is a sensible clean-up rather than a big upgrade. By building the quickshifter into the main Base trim and trimming the starting price, TVS has simplified the lineup and made the RTR 310 easier to recommend. Anyone who wanted the quickshifter but baulked at the old Top price now gets a better deal, while a stripped-down option remains for those who want the lowest sticker price.
