In September, Bajaj Auto registered a total of 2.51 lakh units in 2-wheeler sales of 4.51 lakh units. Compared to last year, there is a growth of 5% year-on-year. The sales of last year, September 2025, stood at 4.31 lakh units.

The credit for the 5% growth of Bajaj Auto in the September months purely goes to the exports. A significant growth of 34% is recorded, marking nearly 54,000 units more exported. However, there is a decline in the domestic market, with 33,000 units less sold compared to last year. Bajaj’s 47% sales of 2-wheelers are made from the exports only.

Bajaj Auto records a significant growth of 24% with 4.89 lakh more two-wheelers this financial year compared to the cumulative sales of last financial year. On average, Bajaj Auto is selling about 4.18 lakh two-wheelers per month so far. September's volume of 4.51 lakh units is above this average.
Exports have been the key growth driver in the first half of the financial year. Over the six-month period, exports grew 47%, compared to growth of just 6% in domestic two-wheeler sales. Exports now account for about 52% of Bajaj Auto's total two-wheeler volumes in FY27 so far.
