Multi-Functional TFT MeterThe R15M features a clear and sharp reverse LCD display that provides a wealth of vehicle-related information, including speed, RPM, fuel levels, call notification, message notification, gear indicator and other details.
- USD Forks
Yamaha R15M employs an upside down front suspension fork with 37 mm inner tubes. The upside down front forks improve rigidity and provide stability while taking high speed turns or during high braking input.
- BI-Functional Headlamps
The new headlight features a single bi-functional LED unit emitting both the low and high beam. Characterized by increased brightness (Class-D), the unit’s lightweight and compactness have enabled the new highly aerodynamic fairing (cowling) design.
- Assist and Slipper Clutch
An A&S (assist and slipper) clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. The A&S helps to reduce fatigue for the rider. This also prevents excessive engine braking, thus reducing its effects on chassis behavior.
- Traction Control
The R15M comes with a Traction Control System. This is a dedicated electronic system that has special ability to reduce the chances of wheelspin (slippage due to loss of traction)
- Quick Shifter
The Quick Shifter (up-shift) allows for clutch-less shifting of gears. It increases the comfort of riding the vehicle since it eliminates the need to use the clutch or throttle before and after a gearshift.
