Exterior Looks and Design
The Nissan Kicks is offered with an extremely bold design which gives the car a massive appeal. The build quality is great and everything feels extremely solid. The front fascia looks aggressive and dominating while the sides give it a sporty stance. The sloping roofline and the overall tailgate design do look a bit over the top but in all, the Nissan Kicks is a good looking car.

Interiors
A dual-tone brown-black colour scheme can be seen in the inside of the Kicks which not only looks nice but also adds to the overall premium feel of the cabin. The dashboard has an appealing layout while the seats too are very comfortable. The leather on the dashboard and the door pads further increase the overall appeal. At the rear, the seat bench is comfortable but we did find the legroom to be a little less when compared to its rivals.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The Nissan Kicks can be had with two petrol engines. The first engine is a 1.3-L turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 156 Ps and 254 Nm of peak torque. This engine can be had with a manual or with a CVT gearbox. the second engine is a 1.5-L naturally aspirated petrol engine. the peak power and torque output from this engine stand at 106 Ps and 142 nm respectively. Unlike the 1.3-L engine, the 1.5-L engine can only be had with a manual gearbox. Both these engines feel refined but it is the 1.3-L turbo engine which feels more responsive and has impressed us a lot.
Features
The Nissan kicks is available with a number of features which make it a VFm car when compared to the rivals. Apart from the basic features, the Nissan Kicks also gets NissanConnect Service. This tech can help the owners access the details about service booking, service history, tow-away alert and track, drive alerts, geofencing, curfew and chauffer alerts, and a way to my car feature from the NissanConnect app installed on the phone. Apart from this, the Kicks gets features such as voice recognition, floating 8-inch touchscreen display, keyless start, idle start-stop button, etc.

Price and Rivals
The Nissan Kicks competes against cars such as the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Kia Seltos, Maruti S-Cross, etc. The car is priced from Rs 9.49 lakh for the base model.
