How many batteries does Ather Rizta have and are they removable batteries?
Two non-removable lithium-ion battery packs that are built into the chassis of the Ather Rizta and other Ather electric scooters are standard. 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh battery packs, respectively, are included with the Ather Rizta. It is not possible to remove the fixed batteries. They are permanently integrated as part of the scooter's chassis design. For better temperature management, appropriate structural integration, and overall battery safety, Ather developed the battery packs in this manner. Battery packaging and weight distribution inside the constrained chassis area are further improved by the non-removable battery design. For those who are concerned about range anxiety, Ather offers subscription plans for batteries and has built up public rapid charging stations called Ather Grid in key cities. However, non-removable batteries cannot be changed on your own. Over the time, only experienced Ather personnel will be able to access or service the batteries at their experience centers if necessary.
