Rizta Highlights
On Target
A very practical and family oriented e-scooter that does everything almost pretty well.
What We Like
Clean minimalist design, long comfy seat, dual battery options, ample 56L storage, strong safety tech & smart features.
What We Do Not Like
Top variant is pricey. Just two ride modes, 80 km/h cap. Ather’s network still limited and design is a hit or miss.

Should I buy the Rizta?
If you are looking for an electric scooter for your family that everyone can ride, the Rizta should be in your consideration. It comes with a good number of features, a good claimed range, and a good build quality. The scooter is priced well compared to its primary rivals. Currently, Ather has a limited sales and service network across the country, especially in North and West India. Competitors such as the Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube offer a better and vast sales and service network which makes the customers happy.
- The Ather Rizta comes with a minimalist design without compromising on practicality. -
At the Ather Community Day 2025 event, new features were introduced for the Rizta, including an OTA update that turns the Rizta Z variant’s 7-inch TFT screen into a touchscreen. This means even existing Rizta Z owners will now enjoy the benefits of a touchscreen interface. Customers can now manually enter destinations on maps, check notifications, and access other scooter-related information directly from the display. Lastly, the scooter has also gained a new Eco mode, which serves as a reminder to alert riders to ease off the throttle, helping reduce battery consumption.

This voice assistant will work like a sensor with a mouth - as if there is a pothole or bump ahead, it will alert the rider before it occurs. Also, if there’s dark clouds up there, and it's about to pour, it will alert.
-
Additionally, Ather has introduced an emergency crash alert system. In the event of an accident, if the scooter tips over, its blinkers will turn on, the horn will sound, and the TFT display will show "Crash Detected" in red while displaying the emergency contact details.
