Also, its reliability is solid, and hence it is loved by young buyers. However, the 250 remains unchanged largely, but a new OBD2-compliant engine has now been fitted to make it withstand the latest BS6 Phase 2 norms. Apart from this, the rest of the bike remains unchanged. However, Yamaha has updated the smaller 150-cc FZS in India with more features, like LED lights.

Design: The Yamaha FZS 25 boasts a stylish crown on the front face, providing wind blast protection and shielding against debris and insects during highway rides. Engine: A 249cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine powers the Yamaha FZS 25, producing 20.5 horsepower and 20.1 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission and provides excellent driving performance. Telescopic forks are fitted to the front of the bike, while a 7-step adjustable mono-shock absorber is fitted to the back.
