The 9 speed automatic is tuned mainly for smooth and relaxed driving. It responds best to gentle throttle and early upshifts. If you press the pedal suddenly the downshift can feel a bit slow but with lighter inputs the shifts stay very smooth and passengers will not feel head movement. In my experi

In tight and chaotic lanes, the Meridian feels manageable once you get used to its light steering and clear camera views. The bonnet is easy to judge and the turning circle suits city use better than taller ladder frame SUVs that can feel top heavy. It responds best to smooth and measured inputs rat
