VinFast has launched its third product in India, the VF MPV 7, marking its entry into the MPV segment. Priced at Rs. 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric MPV is powered by a motor producing 204 PS and 280 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in under 9 seconds and offers a claimed range of up to 517 km. So, without further ado, let's begin. Exterior
The VF MPV 7 follows a clean and minimal design philosophy. Up front, it features a signature V-shaped connected DRL integrated with the VinFast 'V' badge, along with all-LED headlamps.
From the side, the MPV rides on 19-inch black alloy wheels and gets a chrome window beltline extending till the C-pillar, along with body cladding. A large glass area, even for the third row, enhances the sense of space, compensating for the absence of a sunroof.
At the rear, connected tail-lamps merge at the center 'V' badge, giving the MPV a wider and more modern stance. The VF MPV 7 is offered in six colors: Jet Black, Infinity Blanc, Moonlit Ocean, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, and Introspective Brown.
Interior
Inside, the cabin adopts a minimalist layout with a 10.1-inch central screen that controls infotainment, driver information, and mirror adjustments. The car features a switch-free dashboard and includes an AI-powered assistant.
It offers multiple charging options, including Type-A, Type-C, and 12V ports for front and second-row passengers. However, the MPV misses out on features like ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, ADAS, front parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, and six airbags. It comes equipped with four airbags, along with ABS, EBD, ESC, TCS, hill start assist, and rollover mitigation.
The cabin is available in black and beige leatherette upholstery. Thanks to its long wheelbase and flat floor, the VF MPV 7 provides generous space across all three rows, with improved comfort for middle passengers in the second row.
Battery & Motor
The MPV is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack, offering a segment-leading claimed range. The motor delivers best-in-segment power and torque figures. Fast charging allows the battery to go from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes. VinFast is also offering free charging at its VGreen charging stations until March 31, 2029.

Verdict
The VF MPV 7 impresses with its clean design, strong range and spacious cabin, making it a practical family EV. However, the lack of key features and limited safety kit at this price could be a concern. Its a sensible but slightly under-equipped option in a segment where expectations are rising fast.
