Gleev Motors, a Greater Noida-based start-up, debuted the Protos, a portable electric scooter, in early February. The Protos scooter has now been introduced by the brand for a price of Rs 44,4444. Customers can now acquire the Gleev Protos scooter from the start-up. It will be available for purchase in Delhi-NCR from. Only a few people will be able to receive it right away, while others will have to call Rs 4,444 to reserve it.

Gleev Protos Body And Dimensions

The Protos is an electric foldable scooter with collapsible handles, the scooter's body is made of aircraft-grade aluminium and features triple spring suspension in the front and double coil spring suspension in the back. The braking duties are taken care of by rear drum brakes. According to the makers, the foldable scooter weighs around 17.5 kg and is intended for Indian roads.

Gleev Protos features and specifications

The Gleev Protos is equipped with 250-watt motors and a 36-volt 15.6-amp-hour lithium-ion battery. The battery takes 3 hours to fully charge and can run for 55 kilometres. The scooter has three different speed settings: 10 kph, 18 kph, and 25 kph. Cruise control, 2 levels adjustable regenerative electrical braking system, high & low acceleration mode, power limiter, kick start & zero start option are among the scooter's other features.

One led headlight, two white led front deck lights, two red led rear deck lights, and a brake responsive led taillight are among the scooter's additional electronics. Basic info regarding speed mode, odometer, battery level, trip, run duration, and other driver-related information will be displayed on the information display. If further features are desired, the scooter can be fitted with an electric horn, mechanical bell, ignition key with a voltmeter, USB charging outlet, and the option to install a foldable seat.
