The Nashik-based EV maker Revamp has launched its first product in India. The Revamp Moto Buddie 25 utilitarian e-scooter is now on sale for Rs 66,999 (ex-showroom). It is a multipurpose low-speed electric scooter that requires no registration whatsoever. Read more details about it below.

Revamp Moto Buddie 25 Details
Speaking of the Buddie 25, it is a very quirky & funky-looking e-scooter. Additionally, the main purpose of its design is practicality. Hence, riders who need scooters for ferrying luggage might love them. It is a low-speed scooter with changeable seating and carrier options. Meanwhile, its large footboard area & payload capacity of 120 kg is the cherry on the cake. However, its design might not be of everyone's liking. Most of its design elements are either square or rectangular in shape. Although, it does come with high-tech features like LED lights.
A single-seat, tubular handlebar, & a small digital LCD screen comprise of features list. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience. Meanwhile, it does get a swappable/removable battery pack. It is a boon for customers who will be using it for everyday luggage ferrying. Even the company has designed it keeping in mind last-mile delivery services. Meanwhile, its body is carved out of hard & sturdy plastic. As per the maker, it is based on a modular platform.
Technically, it gets a 48V Li-ion battery pack. This battery pack, combined with an electric motor, can do up to an ARAI-certified 70 km per charge. However, the range might differ depending on the riding conditions. Meanwhile, as its name suggests (Buddie 25), its top speed is limited to 25 kmph. All thanks to this, it requires no registration as well. One can charge the Buddie 25 from 0-80 percent in 1 hr 45 min while a complete 0-100 percent comes in 2 hr 45 min. Meanwhile, its 12-inch tyres help it to achieve a gradeability of up to 12 degrees.
Verdict
If we compare it with similar ICE-powered rivals; TVS XL 100 comes close. However, being electric it is still way more costly than the XL. But, it is an EV which makes it a pollution-free, silent, & peppy luggage ferrying machine. Meanwhile, Okinawa Dual 100 is its direct rival in the electric category.
