Evtric Motors Rise Latest Update
Last updated on 1st Jun'23 Evtric Rise: With the rise in the popularity of electric motorcycles, another entrant in the space which is trying to carve its own identity is the Evtric Rise. This is the first-ever all-electric motorcycle from Evtric Motors and intends to offer an easy and affordable all-electric motorcycling experience to people low on budget.
Battery and Motor: The Evtric Rise sources its power from a 3 kW electric motor, which is the most powerful motor in the entire Evtric range. With this motor, the Rise can touch a top speed of 75 kmph. The large 2.8 kWh lithium-ion battery of the Rise can deliver a range of 120 km and takes 4-5 hours for a full charge.
Design and features: The Evtric Rise might not be too aggressive to look at in terms of design and flashiness. Instead, it has a more commuter-like appeal with its simple and lean design easy on the eyes. Also, unlike other cheap electric motorcycles, the Evtric Rise doesn’t look disproportionate and is decent when it comes to quality. At the front, the Evtric Rise has an edgy triangular halogen headlamp, which has a small pilot lamp placed in the middle of its upper part and tapered upper edges for an aggressive look for the fascia. This headlamp is surrounded by a sleek-looking cowl, which has a tinted visor above the headlamp.
The tank part of the Evtric Rise possesses a slightly muscular appeal, with it having pointy tank extensions flowing downwards from the lower edges of it. These zig-zag-shaped tank extensions come integrated with LED turn indicators. The Evtric Rise has a black-themed battery in place of the engine and black alloy wheels, with the rear having a hub-mounted motor powering it. The rear section of this electric motorcycle also has slim side body panels, which flow towards the compact LED tail lamp.
The Rise is an affordable electric motorcycle, but there are some features which make it feel premium for its price. It comes equipped with a digital instrument console, LED indicators, three riding modes – Traffic, City and Sports, disc brakes at both ends and a daytime running light.
Colours: The two colour options in which the Evtric Rise is being offered in the market are Crystal Red and Shine Black.
Rivals: Competing with other affordable electric motorcycles like Oben Rorr, Revolt RV400 and Tork Kratos, the Evtric Rise is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh.
