The Honda X-Blade gets a BS6-compliant 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, engine. This motor churns out 13.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14.7 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The X-Blade also gets Programmed Fuel-injection technology and Honda's Eco Technology (HET). However, unlike all other BS6-compliant Honda offerings, the new X-Blade doesn't get an ACG starter motor. The new X-Blade BS6 will deliver around 45-50 kmpl of mileage in real-life conditions.

The X-Blade has a length of 2013 mm, a width of 786 mm, and a height of 1115 mm. It has a 1347 mm wheelbase and a 795 mm saddle height (seat-height). The motorcycle's single disc variant weighs 143 kilograms, while the dual disc variant weighs 144 kilograms. It also has a 12-liter fuel tank and a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm.

The Honda X-Blade is supported by a Diamond Frame. It has hydraulic monoshock absorbers at the back and telescopic forks up front. At the front, a 276 mm disc handles the braking responsibilities, and at the back, one can choose between a 220 mm disc and a 130 mm drum. These are petal discs as well, and an extra safety feature is a single-channel ABS. The motorcycle has tubeless 17-inch tires. The rear tire is larger and measures 130/70-17, while the front tire is 80/100-17. A fully digital instrument cluster with a wealth of data, including a gear position indicator, is available on the new X-Blade. Other features include a hazard light, an engine kill switch, etc.
