We own a BS4 Hyundai Venue. I live in Kamrup rural but I bought it from a Guwahati dealer. We own the top-end turbo petrol version of Venue with 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. I bought this one as I wanted a car with compact dimensions and one that is powerful because I love driving on the twisties of the Guwahati-Shillong Highway. The Venue has never disappointed me, it delivers good mileage on the highway as well as in the city. The only gripe I have with it is that the rear seat isn’t very spacious when three abreast sit together. I will recommend it to others if you want a feature loaded and powerful compact SUV, get the Venue.
Hi, I own a Hyundai Venue with the 1.2L Kappa petrol motor. I got the base model of the Venue as I had budet problems. I arrived at Hyundai showroom in Faridabad to get the Grand i10 but then I stretched my budget a bit and got the Venue. I like the looks of the Hyundai Venue, it has a masculine appeal but since I have bought the base variant, it doesn’t get any hi-tech features. The base model gets an empty space on the centre console and so I have installed an aftermarket android touchscreen in it. Overall, in terms of driving, the 1.2L petrol engine isn’t very powerful but it delivers good fuel economy and that was my priority. I liked this Hyundai very much and I will suggest if you have enough budget, get the top-spec trims as they get much more features.
Hi, I bought the GTX Plus Trim of the Kia Seltos with 7-speed DCT in January 2020. I went to the showroom and just loved its looks and features on offer. I chose the turbo petrol model with the DCT and it drives fantastically. I was a little skeptical as how the DCT will perform, will it overheat or not as I have read such things on the internet but thankfully, I didn’t face any issue at all and the mileage is also pretty decent. I usually commute from home to office and back in the Seltos which is around 30 kilometres a day and on weekends I used to go on drives but this corona disrupted everything. In 7 months, I have driven this car around 6500 kilometres and I am very happy with my decision that I got myself a Kia Seltos.
I bought the HTX Plus Diesel variant of the Seltos and the car was delivered in February 2020. The HTX Plus is the top-spec model in the Tech Line but it isn’t as feature rich as the GT Line variants, still its very loaded. I got the grey colour model of the Seltos and what fascinated me to buy it is its looks. The stylish looks of the car and its beautiful LED headlights and DRLs fascinated me too much. I was confused between new Creta and Seltos but I didn’t like the looks of the new Creta and so went ahead and bought the Seltos. I have driven this car just 2300 kilometres as lockdown happened later but I plan to take my Seltos on golden quadrilateral tour too in the near future.
