BMW Motorrad India has finally launched their much-awaited ADV the 2026 BMW F 450 GS. The motorcycle is a replacement for the older single-cylinder G 310 GS, this time with more power and versatile option. The BMW F 450 nameplate not only brings design changes but also comes with multiple features additions. TFT Display with Smartphone Connectivity

The BMW F 450 GS comes equipped with a 6.5-inch coloured TFT display, that display all essential information to the rider. The setup also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to pair their smartphone and access call alerts, navigation, and media control directly on the screen.
Moreover, to manage all these features the Motorcycle uses BMW's multi-controller, mounted near the handlebar. In addition, the premium ADV comes with an on-board computer that provides detailed vehicle information, making it easier to monitor the motorcycles performance during everyday rides.

Competitors with same feature: The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 offers 4-inch round TFT display with phone connectivity. Another rival, the KTM 390 Adventure offers a 5-inch display with KTM connect.
Gear Shift Assist Pro and Easy Ride Clutch

The 2026 BMW F 450 GS comes equipped with Gear Shift Assist Pro and an Easy Ride clutch, that enhance both performance and riding comfort. The quickshifter system allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts for smoother gear changes, while the assist-and-slipper clutch reduces lever effort and prevents rear wheel hop during aggressive downshifts.

The BMW F 450 GS offers multiple riding modes that includes Rain, Road, Enduro, Riding Modes Pro, and Enduro Pro. Rain mode improves stability on wet roads, Road mode suits everyday riding, while Enduro modes optimise traction and ABS settings for better control on loose surfaces and off-road trails.

All-LED Lighting

The 2026 BMW F 450 GS come equipped with a full LED lighting setup which provides enhanced visibility and adds a modern touch to the motorcycle. The setup includes LED headlamp paired with DRLs, sleek LED blinkers and an LED taillight. The LED lighting along with DRLs ensures better visibility at night while it also enhance motorcycle's road presence during daytime conditions.

BMW has added advance rider assistance electronics featuring ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and MSR engine brake control. Talking about ABS Pro it provides braking stability while cornering, the DTC helps minimizing wheel spin ensuring overall riding stability.
Further safety is enhanced by MSR engine brake control, which helps maintain wheel stability during sudden downshifts. Together, these electronic aids ensure better control and rider confidence across varying riding conditions.

The Brand has also put emphasis on everyday comfort and touring convenience with the BMW F 450 GS. The motorcycle features heated grips, USB Type-C charging, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and a keyless ignition system. Heated grips improve comfort during cold rides, while the USB port keeps devices charged. Adjustable levers allow better control, and keyless ignition adds everyday convenience.
